had my lapband removed at OCC in 2017 due to having issues with a hernia, and at the same time, I had the hernia repaired and the gastric sleeve performed. It was the best decision I have ever made for myself. Today, marks 4 years to the day, that I have had my surgery and I have never been happier. I have lost a total of 100 lbs. The surgery is a tool only, you still have to work at it and it is still a struggle, but if you have the mind set and the motivation you will succeed
