I was having major knee issues and no one would replace it cause I was morbidly obese. I tried the military move program twice and got nowhere. 2 months on the OCC program preop I lost around 28 pounds. In Oct I was finally granted the chance to get my knee replaced because I was at 40 BMI. I was warned to be careful because I would probably gain weight or could during this process. I am proud to say I lost 15 lb from Oct to Dec.
My stats were as follows:
Starting weight was 337 on my scale, Surgery I think was 310,
Currently 223 on my home scale.
My one year anniversary is Jan 26! Pictures are Sept of 2021 before surgery. The after picture was Dec 27 2022
