I have struggled with weight for the last 15 years. Up, down, up, down – you all know how it goes. Hey, I’m happy – let’s eat. I’m sad – time to eat. Let’s celebrate – let’s eat. What should we do now – I don’t know, but let’s eat. Eating was a quick gateway to instant gratification to try to feel good. I tried to lose weight many, many times. All I know is that I wanted to be skinnier for all the right reasons (health, life longevity, a better quality of life, etc…). On an annual guys’ friend trip I had recently attended in 2018, I noticed 3 new people were there. Turns out they were not new; they were 3 old friends with 3 new lives.
