I have been overweight since the birth of my first child. It got worse and worse as the years went on. I missed out on so many experiences with my girls because I was afraid I would be the one to break the swing, or snap the wire, or that the restraints wouldn’t close around me. In 2015 a close co-worker of mine passed away suddenly and that was the final push I needed to contact the OCC. I called on the 7th of January and booked my sleeve for the 19th of February. I had an incredible experience at OCC, the nurses and staff were there even when I hadn’t buzzed for anything. Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Martinez were awesome as well. My only regret is that I didn’t know about this 10 or 15 years ago. I have lost about 120 pounds and owe my new life to the Obesity Control Center! I am an open book when it comes to my WLS and tell everyone about the excellent service and care at OCC.
