Dealing with weight issues my whole life had been exhausting. Having many medical issues such as PCOS, gestational diabetes twice, and being born with turner mosaic syndrome…the cards were stacked against me. I tried every diet imaginable with little to no success. It was on the suggestion of my PCP that I should consider WLS. I was very apprehensive, but after years of fighting, I was ready to take my life back. After weeks of research, and a wait list of 5 years for bariatric surgery in Canada, I found the best. The care and commitment OCC provides is top notch. The doctors, nurses and support staff are phenomenal. I couldn’t be happier with who I am today. Healthy and in charge of my life again. My boys are happy to have a healthy mom. I can play with my 3-year-old without being winded and chase my 2 teens around and still have energy. This is the ultimate journey. It started Dec 5th 2017 and will continue forever. A forever I look forward to living.
